When it comes to skin pore size, the rule of thumb is, the
smaller the better. This keeps your skin looking tighter and younger. However,
for many people having small pores are not a reality, in fact, the opposite is
true, they have large pores. There are a couple of different causes for large
pores, including genetics and acne blackheads.
Some people are born naturally with bigger than normal skin
pores, these large pores can largely be attributed to their genetic makeup. In addition,
another point to consider here is that certain areas of body such as nose,
forehead and central area of the face generally tend of have bigger pores both
in men and women secreting more sebum (body oil). At times, these openings
become jammed with dirt and dead skin cells leading to formation of blackheads
and whiteheads and therefore making these openings appear even larger.
Unfortunately, there is no magic wand which can shrink
these pores to the preferred size and make your skin appear younger and vibrant.
