I am 26 with pretty fair skin and I have had blackheads on my chin and nose for years, (as long as I can remember). I have read many reviews about the Shielo Complexion Scrub and I don't think they are doing this product justice. After using Shielo's Complexion Scrub, from their Anti-Aging category, for only 3 days, I have already seen an improvement and not just a little improvement, but a major one.

Most of my blackheads have completely been removed. I understand it may not work for all people but I have and will continue to recommend this product to anyone who will listen. P.S. If you are gonna try it, get it online, because I paid 3 times the price when I bought it in the store.

Hi, I am 49yo, a paralegal from TX and have had mild-moderate acne problems all my life from about 12yo thru now, except for about 6-7 years after my Accutane treatments in my middle 20's. My Accutane treatments resulted in my face peeling alot, my lips cracking and sore leg joints because they dried up. It worked for several years. However, it wasn't a cure. I don't think there's a 100% cure. I couldn't afford many of the new products, being a single parent. I had reached a certain point in my life when I really was tired of having large pores and problem areas, so I resigned myself to researching on the internet. I am pretty skeptical but I thought I'd finally try something more of the natural mode. I decided to try tea tree oil. I can't believe I didn't know about it or hear about it sooner. To my surprise, this is now day 3 and my blackheads are almost gone and my skin feels smoother and the pores are really smaller. My acne is almost gone and my skin on my nose and areas on my nose and alot of my face are very smooth, like my pores disappeared. The tea tree oil that I bought cost me $8.00 for the bottle, which I recommend putting a Q-tip amount on your face, being careful not to get it in your eyes. It's 100% strength and the May Clinic indicates a recommded use of a solution of about 5%-10%. It's an oil (but your skin absorbs it leaving your skin not feeling oily), so don't mix it with water, that won't dilute it very well. I mix it (though initially in a stronger percentage right now) with Neosporin to promote healing and to help mix it. Don't drink it, it can be fatal. I would ask your doctor about it so he can advise you properly, but I have tried it full-strength my first day without any side effects. The best part-it doesn't sting or dry your skin like other over-the-counter productsa nd doesn't leave your skin red at all. Be advised I'm no doctor, but in your case, I can easily see you benefitting with full-strength for 2 days and then diluting it in either Aloe Vera or Neosporin (10:1 ratio, 10%). Tea Tree Oil, (not Ti Oil), is an anti-fungal and antibiotic that has helped me so much I cried yesterday, and I'm one tough bird who never cries (OK, maybe watching Lifetime sometimes). So, best of luck to you. You'll love this product. Blog back and tell me if you'll try it, ok? But ask your doctor if it will be ok to use it with your Accutane first.
Here's hoping it helps,
MsC

Try Antibiotics
by: Anonymous

The problem with acne is that it has causative factors that contribute to that pustule or cyst. Roaccutane is very good but it acts on the sebaceous gland and dries it up. This reduces the size of the gland and generally prevents it from exploding inwards. It does not remove blackheads.

However, your acne condition may be due to an infection that causes the whiteheads or by your cleanser irritating your skin. Ask your doctor to try a course of antibiotics.
