Butt Acne Information

ButtAcne is nothing to be ashamed of. Both men and women suffer from this condition, some more than other, but it is not gender specific. Many of our site visitors inquire about butt acne or simply acne appearing on the buttocks.

First thing you need to understand is that acne on the buttocks is not any different than any other kind of acne. The causes of butt acne are no different than back, body, or facial acne. And it is also fairly common. In fact many people, including myself, who suffer from pimples, are likely to experience this type of acne as well.

Ways to deal with butt acne:

1. Try using little bristle brush during shower to scrub and exfoliate the skin. You can find these anywhere in the bath department or beauty shops; it’s like the kind used for your nails. It is very soft and will not scratch or mark you skin. Generally you will see results within a few weeks.

2. Another thing to try for butt acne or sometimes referred to as ass acne is to use a loofah sponge during bath time. You can purchase these at any drug or beauty stores. You can use these with or without soap. Gently scrub the infected area until the skin turns to very light pinkish color. Please do not over do it as you can aggravate acne even more.
